Barron manufactures precision cast components for the GDLS Stryker and Abrams tank programs, the Oshkosh Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), as well as BAE’s Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), Paladin Integrated Management (PIM) and Bradley programs. Typical components supplied by Barron to the defense industry include mounts, instrumentation housings, power distribution chassis, towing components, antenna mounts, hatch rings, hinges, latch assemblies and exhaust components.

Barron also produces high-strength, lightweight aerospace components for companies like Boeing, Ball Aerospace, Curtiss Wright, General Dynamics, General Electric, Triumph Group and more. The investment casting foundry pours more than 200 ferrous and non-ferrous alloys that pass strict non-destructive testing requirements for thin-walled, lightweight designs. Aerospace components manufactured by Barron are used in aircraft technologies for both domestic and foreign markets including the forward canard section for a 2,000 lb. ordinance, fuel and HVAC systems on the Boeing 767, and the GE9X high-bypass turbofan aircraft engine.
